Forged damascus san-mai blade from unidentified carbon steels.
Handle:
Guard from Namibian meteorite and stainless steel. Handle made from stainless steel, vulcanized fiber, stabilized giraffe bone, mosaic pin, deer antler, Cocobolo wood and damascus steel.
Sheath:
Cow hide and ostrich skin. Handmade.

Hand forged damascus knife. Manufactured in June 2015.
Blade:
120 layer damascus steel hand-forged from carbon tool steel O2 (1.2842 or ČSN 19312) and nickel tool steel 80NiCr11 (1.2705). Convex blade grind. Blade hardness 60 HRC.
Handle:
Guard and pommel from damascus from 3 carbon steels (1.2842,1.2705 and 1.1645) and pure nickel. Handle made from brass, vulcanized fiber, reconstructed stone, mosaic pin and Australian Banksia tree cone. Seed openings filled with crystal epoxy resin, brass and copper shavings.Central tang construction, handle glued throughout with epoxy resin.

Cow hide, pig hide and crocodile skin. Handmade.

I forged the damascus billet during a partial solar eclipse (incidentaly) hence the name of the knife.

Hand forged carbon tool steel W110 (ČSN 19191, EZH). Convex blade grind. Differentialy hardened in bee-wax, wavy Hamon line. Hardness 61 HRC.
Handle:
Construction steel, stainless steel, water buffalo horn, vulcanized fiber, mozaic pin, swamp oak (semi-fossilized wood 9000 years old). Central tang construction, handle glued throughout.
